Stephen King returns with yet another "Thriller" - "Duma Key".

Duma Key is the story of Edgar Freemantle, a happily married, successful businessman who is injured in an accident at a construction site. The accident made Edgar a very angry bitter man, devastated by pain, having a difficult time having people understand him when he speaks, drove his wife away.

His doctor tells him to find something that makes him happy, and the only thing he could think of is sketching. He leases a house in Florida and moves to Duma Key, determined to be happy and become an artist. He begins to paint and starts to heal. Life is finally starting to go well again for Edgar. His paintings are becoming popular, he forms a friendship with his new buddy Hardman, his relationship with his daughter is strong .... then .... all hell breaks loose ... literally.

He begins to have terrible nightmares and visions of presences. He is unclear of what is happening to him, but is sure that Duma Key is affecting things - him in particular - in ways that are not good. With Hardman's help, they start investigating the island's history. What he finds in the past is only half as frightening as what eventually happens in the present.....

Like many of Stephen King's books you just can't put the book down until you are finished. He always has revetting plots, frightening scenarios, you can almost hear the music in the background ... you know the music that leads up to the most scariest part.
